Local Resources for Fighting Addiction

fighting addictionHeroin. It used to be that the highly-addictive drug was the choice of the hard-core addict. However it’s popularity has increased in recent years even among the unexpected demographics of suburban high-schoolers and moms. The trend is disturbing and complex. Easy to dismiss as a problem for “other people,” the heroin-addiction epidemic is being tackled in a three-part series by the West Oakland County Spinal Column Newsweekly. Local attorney Kathryn Wayne-Spindler shares resources for fighting addiction in Southeastern Michigan.
