Attorney, Emma Dietz-Jacob
Emma Dietz-Jacob is a new associate attorney at the law firm of Kathryn Wayne-Spindler & Associates. Emma assists clients with a wide range of family law, estate planning, and real estate matters. Empathetic, friendly, and knowledgeable, she is dedicated to protecting and advocating for her client’s legal rights. Emma finds great professional and personal satisfaction in helping usher her divorce clients into their next stage of life with dignity and confidence and protecting her estate planning clients’ legacy for the loved ones they leave behind.
Emma’s greatest skills are her thorough and creative research and writing abilities. She also has experience in trial preparation, executing customized estate plans, opening and closing a variety of Probate matters, and civil litigation. She benefits greatly from the guidance and mentorship of Kathryn Wayne-Spindler and the experienced attorneys in the office, which enables her to continue to expand her practice and experiences with clients and in the courtroom.
Emma received her Bachelor of Arts degree in History from the University of Michigan in 2019. During her time at the University of Michigan, Emma competed as a D1 student-athlete on the Women’s Rowing Team, earning a Big Ten Championship in 2017. Emma earned her Juris Doctorate from Wayne State University Law School in 2022. Emma was admitted to the Michigan State Bar in 2022.
Emma is married, has one daughter, and her family’s Labrador retriever. Outside the office, she loves to run, cook, read, and travel with her family. Their favorite place is Hilton Head Island, South Carolina.
